The Law of the Garbage Truck

The mark of a successful person is how quickly they get thier focus
on what's important.

Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of
a New York City taxi cab.

I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We
were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black
car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi
driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's
back end by just inches!

The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big
accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at
us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.

So, I said, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your
car and sent us to the hospital!" My taxi driver told me what I
now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."

Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of
garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of
disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump
it. And if you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants
to dump on you, don't take it personally. You just smile, wave,
wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did. So this was
it: The "Law of the Garbage Truck."

I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over
me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other
people-- at work, at home, on the streets?

It was that day I said, "I'm not going to do it anymore." I began
to see garbage trucks. Like in the movie "The Sixth Sense," the
little boy said, "I see Dead People." Well, now "I see Garbage
Trucks." I see the load they're carrying. I see them coming to drop
it off. And like my Taxi Driver, I don't make it a personal thing.
I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.

Good parents know that they have to welcome their children home from
school with hugs and kisses.

Leaders and parents know that they have to be fully present, and at
their best for the people they care about.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let Garbage Trucks
take over their day.

What about you?

What would happen in your life, starting today, if you let more
garbage trucks pass you by?

The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee

A Perfect Philosophy of Life - The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of
Coffee"

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24
hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2
cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in
front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very
large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf
balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed
that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into
the jarHe shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open
areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the
jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the
jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once
more if the jar was full. The students responded with a
unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table
and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the
empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided, "I want you to
recognize
that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important
things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and
your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only
they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your
house and your car. The sand is everything else---the small
stuff. "If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there
is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will
never have room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness
Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit
with grandparents.Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse
out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean
the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---
the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just
sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee
represented. The professor smiled and said, "I'm glad you asked."
The coffee just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

This is what i read. Wish Everybody

Happy Bubble In Papaya Enzymes made on 31 May

Hi Everybody, this is the Papaya enzyme bubble happily bubbling upwards. All thanks to Aunt Irene for her effort to teach me how to make enzymes. This is the 5th bottle of enzymes i had made. See the bubble? It is moving upwards, I was seeing it so happily and hence i quickly took my camera to video cam it down. Again I had to trouble Aunt Irene to teach me how to upload in the blog.

Please do not be mistaken that the bubble is so active all the time. I only took the picture of the most active time... good luck.

Papaya Enzymes Made on 31 May

This bottle of papaya enzymes were prepared on 31st May. This bubble picture was taken just now. Irene said if you make Banana Enzymes, there will be even more bubbles!!!

See those bubbles from the Enzymes which i boxed up in Red? Some are trapped in the middle between the fruits! Seeing them bubbling upwards also makes me happy... Kekeke
Different fruit reacts differently, so the bubble produce is also different. What important is when you smell the enzyme at the end, it should give you liquor smell. If you smell the smelly drain water... Too bad, you must have added some other things and it has spoiled. So becareful during the process of making enzymes. Don't talk, incase your saliva flew in and taste 1st, hahaha...

My Ondeh

I had successfully made some Ondeh Ondeh today. Thanks to 97.2 DJ Violet and Aunt Irene. They are such a good teacher. I gave a bit of the Ondeh Ondeh to some of my mother's neighbourto try and ask for their feedback. They all say it is very nice, soft and tasty. They also came back for more as i did not dare to give them too much at first cos worry it is not nice as this was my 1st attempt.
My mum and her neighbour's relationship is very close. Sometimes, they will also buy something nice for my mum to eat. The neighbour all are not paiseh one. Nice will say nice, not nice will say not nice also. They always give their honest feedback. Such a good neighbour my mother have, kekeke. They ask who teach me to do the Ondeh Ondeh one, how i got the recipe? I told them to listen to Violet's program on FM97.2 to learn alot of nice kuey and cookies.

Manage to do 57pcs today.
